APSRTC are plying 70 buses during this season
The Visakhapatnam APSRTC Regional Manager on Wednesday flagged off Sabarimala special services for the benefit of the devotees going to Sabarimala.
At a press conference held at Dwarakanagar Bus Station, the Regional Manager N Venkateswara Rao said that the APSRTC is plying special services for the last seven years. During the last year the RTC operated 68 special buses while during the present year 70 buses are deployed for the benefit of the Ayyappa devotees.
He further added that the services that was introduced to Kolkata in July could not get desired results, the APSRTC is thinking of withdrawing the services and divert the same to Tirupati route. The first bus that flagged off on Wednesday, nearly 60 Ayyappa devotees are travelling.
