Visakhapatnam, November 1, 2007

Visakhapatnam Industries continues to gain national attention

The Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) was conferred with a commendation certificate for 2006-07 by the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). The CMD of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant PK Bishnoi received the award in Bangalore during the 15th CII Quality Summit in Bangalore on Thursday. The award was presented to the RINL’s commitment to becoming a world class organization.

NTPC Simhadri bagged the Assessment Award for Significant Achievement for 2007. NTPC Executive Director (Corporate Business Excellence) LM Kapur and NTPC Simhadri General Manager in charge R Venkateswaran received the award from Kamat. NTPC is one of the top ten participants of the event.
