Task Force Police nabs the accused and hands him to Vijayawada Police
The Visakhapatnam Police on Monday arrested one Vijayakumar of Vijayawada who has reportedly married eight women and later deserted them all. The Task Force officials nabbed him while he was moving suspiciously on a motor cycle near Jagadamba junction and will be handed him over to the Vijayawada Police on Tuesday.
The City Police Commissioner, N Samba Siva Rao said that the accused posed himself as a well educated person working for a reputed company and trapped girls from well to do families. He would marry a girl and live with her for some time before he spotted another girl. Similarly, he posed himself as an employee of a reputed bank trapped an intermediate student of Vijayawada and eloped with her and landed in Visakhapatnam.
The girl's parents lodged a complaint at Vijayawada, the city police having learnt about the same caught hold the accused and rescued the girl. The Police Commissioner said that the case has been registered in Vijayawada already, the accused will be shifted to Vijayawada for further investigation.
