Airline owns a Fokker 50 freighter and would help Vizag boost exports
The Chennai based Crescent Air Cargo announced that it would commence its freight operations on the Visakhaptnam-Chennai-Kolkata sector soon. The CEO of Crescent Air Cargo Capt.Murali Ram said at a press conference on Wednesday that the services would be immensely marks of shrip, tuna exports, garment industry and other perishable goods.
The airline presently owns and operates a Fokker 50 freighter that has a load capacity of seven times. The airline plans to expand its fleet by adding two more Fokker 50 freighters by March next.
The president of Air Travellers’ Association of India Varada Reddy said that the city has immense potential. Expansion, modernization and night landing facility in the airport are the pre-requisites for the development of the port city and attracting investments.
