Charge of abusing on caste basis

In a controversy that arose in the 68th ward over drainage and road issues, the Gopalapatnam police arrested an advocate G Ramesh Babu on the charge of using abusive words on a women on the basis of caste. It may also be recalled that the accused the corporator Behara Bhaskara Rao in unreadable words.

Basing on the complaint lodged by the women, the Gopalapatnam police arrested the advocate and registered a complaint on Friday. On Saturday, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Prem Babu conducted an inquiry into the incident and later the police arrested the advocate Ramesh Babu.
