Narasimham dies of kidney failure
Veteran Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Leader and former Member of Parliament P. Appala Narasimham died due to kidney failure on Wednesday. He is 71 and is survived by wife, two daughters and a son PVGR Naidu (former MLA from Pendurty Constituency).
Narasimham started his political career in 1970 when he won over the veteran Congress leader Dronamraju Satyanarayana in the Pendurty Samithi elections. He served as an MLA of Pendurty and later served as the Member of Parliament from Anakapalli. He served as VUDA Chairman and Marketing Committee Chairman. He jointed in the TDP in 1982 and held several key posts in the party.
The Minister of State for Mines T. Subbiramireddy expressed anguish over his demise as great loss to the religion. CPM District Secretary Ch Narasinga Rao recollected his work along with the CPM during the all party agitations for the displaced in the Steel Plant construction. TDP leaders Ch Ayyannapatrudu, Zaheer Ahmed and P Vara Lakshmi attended the funeral.
