Vehicle, Records destroyed

About 15 supporters of the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) attacked the Rural Mandal Revenue Office (MRO) at Visakhapatnam and have destroyed a jeep, furniture, computers and records of the MRO office. The incident is believed to have taken place in the early hours of Sunday.

MRPS agitators are demanding the categorization of SC for the purpose reservation. The stirs are conducted at the state level while MRPS founder Krishna Madiga is on hunger strike.
