Orders to prepare proposals for mobile X-Ray units
The Minister for Tribal Welfare D Redya Naik vent his anger at the officials of the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) for the tardy progress of welfare schemes in all 11 agency mandals. He was participating in the general body meeting of the ITDA on Wednesday and he also instructed the Project Officer a Sarat to cut the increment of water supply deputy Executive Engineer Ranadev for his failure to clear his doubts pertaining to water supply in G Madugula mandal.
The minister asked the officials to work hard for the development of the tribal areas and warned stern action would be taken on the erring officials in implementing the welfare schemes. He ordered the ITDA Health staff to commence fogging operations immediately to cub the menace of malaria.
The minister asked the ITDA and Health officials to prepare proposals for the mobile X-ray units costing to Rs. 20 lakhs each to detect tuberculosis. Detection of TB has become a big hindrance in the Agency areas and immediate corrective measures were required to be taken. MLAs K Ravi Babu an L Raja Rao and joint Director of Tribal Welfare V Ch Bhadrudu were present in the meeting.
