Mega Township to come up in the city

Jurong to provide assistance

Global Entropolis Asia Private limited unveiled its plans to build Rs.900 core township at Yendada in the city. The 80lakh square feet township to be constructed with the technical assistance of Jurong Infrastructure (India) Pvt Ltd., will comprise 360 villas and 3400 apartments of all categories of two, three and four bedrooms. The township will also have a club, a shopping mall, a deluxe hotel, an IT Park, a health care centre and a school. The work is likely to be launched in the month of August and will be completed by 2010 according to the representatives of the two organizations.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jurong India M Rao and Managing Director, Global Entropolis Ramana Reddy and Gautam Reddy and Subba Rao directors said that the project is being developed on public private partnership with the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA), the joint venture partner with Global Entropolis. The price of villas would range from Rs.1.75 crore to Rs. 2.25 crore.

They said that the talks are in the advanced stage and that the township is styled on one in New York. Rao and Gautam Reddy said that the two organizations were working on eight projects worth Rs. 300 core in Bangalore, Chennai, Ooty and Hyderabad.
