Officials made elaborate arrangements
The administration has made elaborate arrangements for the EAMCET-2007 to be held on May 4. Nearly 20,220 students will take up the entrance examination. Speaking to media, the EAMCET regional coordinator Ch Ratnam said on Tuesday that 14,283 students would take the engineering examination in the morning session at 35 centers from 10am to 1pm and 5937 candidates will take part in medical and agricultural stream in the afternoon from 2.30pm to5.30pm at 14 centres.
He said that the hall tickets have been dispatched and duplicate hall tickets can be downloaded from the website eamcet2007.org by entering the application number. The downloaded hall tickets should be attested by a gazetted officer. Duplicate hall tickets can be obtained by submitting an attested photograph to the Chief Superintendent of the concerned centre with Rs.20 either in cash or in the form of DD on May 2 and 3 between 10am to 4pm.
He added that the students should reach the venue of the examination well before an half an hour before the commencement of the examination and those who come late after the commencement of the examination. The students are not allowed to carry electronic gadgets like calculators, cell phones etc., and HP pencils will be supplied to the candidates.
