Traffic in the various places to take diversion
In view of the Chief Minister, Dr.YS Rajasekhara Reddy's visit to the city, the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) P Viswa Prasad requested the pubic to take alternative routes. Traffic will be stopped or diverted near Aseelametta Junction towards Gollapalem and Dwarakanagar towards Ambedkar statue from 4pm. Vehicles should drop the public on the approach road at GVMC before 4pm and the parking is provided at AU Engineering College of Engineering grounds. No vehicles will be allowed after 4pm on this route. He said that only pass holders will be allowed for the inaugural of Satyam Computers Services Limited's Visakhapatnam City Centre (VCC) later in the evening.
The Chief Minister will inaugurate Circular Rail and Telugu Museum at Kailasagiri and also inaugurate Pachavati Township, a modern housing colony at Akkireddypaem. The circular train being established with Rs.4 crore, consists of three boogies and an engine. One can witness the beauties of Visakhapatnam from the train which circles on 1.98 kilometer track around Kailasagiri.
The museum that is being established on Kailasagiri is established at a cost of Rs.5 crores of which Rs.3.80 crore will be contributed by World Telugu Federation while the rest by VUDA. The Panchavati Township costing Rs. 39 crore has 155 executive type houses, 21 classic model houses.
