Three year term deposit to fetch 9.5% interestThe Visakhapatnam Co-operative Bank, one of the leading co-operative banks in Andhra Pradesh has announced it is increasing its lending rates. The new lending rates will come effective from March 1, 2007 and have been pushed upwards by 0.5 to 1 percent.
Fixed deposits for a duration of three years will now fetch 9.5%. Senior citizens will get an additional 1% in interest. Loans of various will now carry an interest tag of about 11.5% to 13%.
