Speaks at workshop on Mitigating Water Scarcity

The Vice Chairman of the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) G. Venkatram Reddy felt the need for the active participation of Non Government Officials (NGO)s in water conservation programs. He spoke at a workshop themed on Mitigating Water Scarcity organized by the Department of Civil Engineering, Andhra University College of Engineering. Sri Reddy said that an integrated approach to conserve water resources has to be brought out.

Principal of AU College of Engineering Allam Appa Rao and others spoke on the occasion. March 22 is observed globally as the World Day for Water.
