Says New India has to be built on Gandhian ideology

The Vice President of Gandhi Mission (Chennai) DK Oza said on Monday that a new India must be built by bringing together the modern technical knowledge and Gandhian ideology with sincerity in a healthy competitive atmosphere. Prof.Oza, a Former Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi Rural University speaking on a national seminar on ‘Gandhian philosophy and human development’ said that the true tribute to Gandhiji was to strengthen education system and provide education to all.

Deputy Director of Gandhi Museum (New Delhi) Anil Dutt Mishra, a senior philosophy professor of Andhra University K. Madhu spoke on the occasion. The seminar was presided over by the former Vice Chancellor of Acharya Nagarjuna University B. Swamy.

The Gandhian Studies Centre and the Centre organized the national seminar for Policy Studies.
