Vice Admiral Singh lauds dockyard for improving quality systems

The Naval Dockyard has been awarded certification for compliance with Integrated Management System comprising quality, environment and occupational health and safety in accordance with ISO:9001, ISO:14001 and OHS S18001.

Eastern Naval Command Flag Officer Commanding in Chief Vice Admiral Arun Kumar Singh received the ISO certificate from Indian Register of Quality Systems President C Rama Murthy during the valedictory of the Internmental Quality Circle Convention held at Meghadri auditorium on the Dockyard premises.

Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Admiral Singh lauded the efforts of the dockyard for improving the quality systems and achieving other milestones. He hoped that the dockyard would scale greater heights in future with the support from the industry. Top officials of the Naval Dockyard were present on the occasion.
