Visakhapatnam, March 12, 2007

The District Collector and Election Returning Officer Anil Kumar Singhal said that all arrangements have been made for the Legislative Council elections.

Interacting with the contesting candidates and agents at his office on Monday, he said that the election observers will arrive on March 16 to monitor the elections.

He said that the polling would start at 8am and conclude at 4pm on March 17, 2007. The counting of votes in the local bodies constituencies would be held on March 23, 2007 and in the graduates and teachers constituencies on March 25, 2007.
