Visakhapatnam, March 21, 2007

Adjudged the All India Best Fire Unit

The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP)' fire wing of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has been adjudged the All India Best Fire Unit for the year 2006. The trophy was presented by CISF Director General SIS Ahmed to CISF (VSP) fire wing Assistant Commandant and fire in change N. Elumalai at the 38th CISF Day Parade held at Ghaziabad in UP.

The trophy was presented to the unit by taking into account its overall performance in fire fighting, fire prevention, up keeping of fire vehicles, discipline etc., The CISF of VSP unit fire wing got the trophy earlier consecutively for three years in 2001 to 2003.

The Chairman and Managing Director of VSP, Y Siva Sagar Rao congratulated the CISF fire wing personnel for their achievement.
