Flight operations begins at airport
Visakhapatnam has come back to normalcy after the rains have stopped and the sun seems to show up on the Sunday morning. Fishermen however are asked to go to the sea only after 2 days. Meanwhile, flights began to operate from the Visakhapatnam Airport on Sunday.
The loss due to the recent rains is estimated at about Rs. 4.28 crores. The total rainfall reported in the Visakhapatnam district on Sunday is at 54.78 mm. Visakha Urban region reported rainfall of 55.7 mm, Visakha Rural – 64 mm and Gajuwaka region – 59.8 mm.
