Group of Ministers forms panel

The Union Minister of State for Mines T Subbirami Reddy in a press release said that the Group of Ministers (GoM) led by External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukharjee has set up a committee headed by Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) Chairman and Managing Director Rear Admiral Ajit Tewari to prepare a conceptual plan within four weeks for the restructuring of HSL.

The release said that the committee, consisting of Cochin Shipyard Limited Chairman and two representatives from the Navy and Defence production department would also workout plans for meeting the requirement of the Defence Ministry from HSL.
