Call for 'Chalo Delhi' on June 24
Mala Mahanadu State president Karem Sivaji speaking to reporters on Sunday said that Mala Mahanadu will intensify its agitation against categorization of SCs by staging dharnas in front of the houses of TDP leader K Yerran Naidu in Srikakulam and other leaders supporting Madigas from June 15.
He said that they will seize to their houses and also offices of political parties who are supporting the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS). He added that they would also protest at the house of Minister for Housing Botsa Satyanarayana in Vizianagaram and stage a rasta roko.
He gave a call for 'Chalo Delhi' on June 24 to demonstrate the strength of malas and submit a memorandum to the the Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi. On the same day, hey would lay siege to AP Bhavan. He reiterated the demand for prosecution of MRPS leaders involved in burning of RTC buses and destruction of Government properties and said the action should also be taken to recover the amount for damages from the people who took part in the violence.
