New Train to be introduced between Bhubaneswar and Rameswaram
With effect from July 1, 2007 the railway authorities will be extending the Visakhapatnam-Tenali Janmabhoomi Express to Secunderabad. The Train No. 2805 will leave Visakhapatnam at 6am and reach Secunderabad at 6.25pm on the next day. Similarly the Train No. 2806 will leave Secunderabad at 7.10am and reach Visakhapatnam at 7.40pm on the next day. These trains will run via Vijayawada, Guntur and Nandikudi.
A new train no. 8495/8496 will be introduced between Bhubaneswar and Rameswaram. Train No. 2843/2844 Puri-Ahmadabad triweekly Express will henceforth run four times a week and No. 2835/2836 Hatia-Yeshwantpur weekly Express will run as a bi-weekly. Train no. 8447/8448 will have new stoppages at Sikripoi and Boiguda from July 1.
The Bhubaneswar-Chennai weekly super fast express have been changed as follows. No.2830 Bhubaneswar-Chennai weekly will leave Bhubaneswar every Thursday instead of Friday and will arrive at Visakhapatnam every Thursday. No. 2829 Chennai-Bhubaneswar suer fast express will leave Chennai every Friday instead of Saturday and arrive at Visakhapatnam on Saturday. The Bhubaneswar Chennai will have an additional AC 3 tier and Sleeper Class coach from July 1, 2007.
