Traffic diversions at select places

According to a official release, Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy will arrive here on Thursday at 1.40pm and will stay at Airport lounge for a while before taking a helicopter for Srikakulam at 2.15pm. He will release water from Vamsadara at Krishnapuram in Srikakulam at 3.20pm and from there he will reach Munisabpet at 4pm to distribute assets and address a public meeting. He will return to the city after the meeting and will meet the officials and others till 6pm. After night halt in the city, he will visit the Visakhapatnam Regional Police Hospital on Friday at 7.45am and leave by 8am from the helipad at the city police parade grounds for Guntur.

The city police made elaborate arrangements either traffic stopped or diverted according to the DCP (Traffic) P Viswa Prasad . He urged the people to cooperate with the police department and avoid the following routes. Vehicle parking, push cart an footpath vendors will not be allowed on road from Dolphin Hotel Junction to Guarajada Kalashetram via Jagadamba and Siripuram junction between 3pm to 8pm.

Speaking to media, the Visakhapatnam I MLA Dronamraju Srinivasa Rao said that the purpose of the meeting was to deliberate on all the developmental works taken during the past three years.
