First wife Nandini puts up case at Family Court
Nandini, a resident of Visakhapatnam filed a petition in Visakhapatnam Family Court accusing Pavan Kalyan of marrying second time without taking divorce from her. Nandini claims she is the first wife. She also filed another petition relating to the same case against Pavan Kalyan's brother Chiranjeevi and 13 other family members before the First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court. On Tuesday, it has come to light after the court held hearing on the first petition even though the petitions were filed on June 22, 2007. The case is posted for further hearing on July 31, 2007. However, Nandini was not available for comments as she is out of city.
According to complainant's advocate Devara Satyanarayana, Nandini is daughter of one Chakradhar, a resident of Doctors Colony in Visakhapatnam and she met Pavan Kalyan during their training at a film institute in Hyderabad where they fell in love. They got married on May 14, 1997. The marriage was in trouble since 1999 said the advocate.
In the complainant she stated that Pavan Kalyan married another women, Renu Desai in 2001 without taking divorce from her. In her petition before the family court, she sought a monthly alimony of Rs. 5 lakhs from Pavan Kalyan. She stated in the petition that Chiranjeevi and other family members were present during the marriage of Nandini were named as respondents in the second petition.
