Subbirami Reddy to flag off
The Minister for Mines T Subbirami Reddy will flag off Air Deccan first commercial aircraft from the newly constructed 10,000 feet runway at 9.40 on Friday. It may be noted that the Indian Navy has conducted a trial run on June 13 paving way for commencement of night landing for wide bodied aircrafts.
The District Collect Anil Kumar Singhal, GVMC in charge Commissioner P Bhaskar, MLAs T Gurumurthy Reddy, S Ranga Raju, D Srinivas, Karri Seetharam, Gandi Babji, Kanna Babu, GVMC Deputy Mayor Dorababu, VUDA Chairman PSAN Raju and other prominent persons will witness the function.
