Ten services launched on the eve of Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

As a part of APSRTC diamond jubilee celebrations, it introduced ten metro services in different routs in the city. The Police Commissioner, VSK Kaumudi has inaugurated the Metro Services on Friday.

The APSRTC, Visakhapatnam Regional has also launched the Couple Gift Card scheme at the depots of Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Narsipatnam, Paderu, Maddilapalem, Waltair, Simhachalam, Gajuwaka and Visakhapatnam Steel City with effect from June 1, 2007.

The card is meant for gifting to couple, husband an wife on the eve of marriages, anniversaries, retirements and other festive occasions by friends and well wishers. According to the new scheme, the card holder can travel to anywhere in the State for fours in non Air Conditioned services, including semi sleeper, super luxury, deluxe, express, ordinary, sub urban and Gramani services. The cost of the card is priced at Rs. 1000.
