ACB officials unearths assets worth over Rs. 45 lakhs
The officials of the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested AP State Housing Corporation District Manager G Satyanarayana for possessing assets worth over Rs. 45 lakhs disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The officials of the ACB simultaneously conducted raids at six places in Visakhapatnam and Vizianagaram districts including his house at Marripalem and also at his office. The officials also conducted raids at his father's house in Vizianagaram. They also raided the houses of his friends including an assistant engineer and two employees.
According to ACB sources, the officials found material to substantiate assets including 13 acre land at Vizianagaram, two house sites and one house each in Visakhapatnam and Viziangaram, 20 tolas of gold four kg. of silver and Rs. 20,000. This is the third big catch by the ACB officials after former SP JG Murali. In the recent past, the officials nabbed a superintendent in Collector's office Sumatibai and incidentally the both officials bagged the best employee award from the then District Collector Praveen Prakash.
