Various organizations stages rasta rokos across the north coastal districts

The Government's move to close the schools with less than 20 children, the united forum of various student organizations on Friday organized rasta rokos in the three north coastal districts as part of State wide bandh. Student Organizations SFI, AISF, PDSU, AIDSO, PDSO and PDSU (V) took part in the agitation against the government's move.

The leaders went to the schools and asked them to boycott the classes. Students voluntarily boycotted classes at some schools while the staff had arguments with student leaders in other places. The staff of the government and aided schools refused to close their schools without the permission from the District Education Officers.

The Student Federation of India State vice president P Srinivas said that the State Government was forcing the students to join private educational institutions by closing the government and aided schools.
