Becomes first to introduce the fly by wire technology
Indian, the national airline, became the first Airliner in India to introduce the fly by wire technology Airbus A-320 flight to Visakhapatnam after its modernization of the Visakhapatnam Airport. Meeting the growing needs of the passengers on the Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad sector, with the Airbus A-320 services, Indian offers more seats apart from options of flying in executive class and economy class with competitive fares. Airbus A-320 has a capacity of 145 seats.
The Alliance Air services with Boeing flight on this sector now have been replaced with the services of IC-513/514 with Airbus A-320. The new timings of the flights in the Hyderabad – Visakhapatnam sectors are IC-513 Mumbai-Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam leaves Mumbai at 8am reaches Hyderabad at 9.15am and reaches Visakhapatnam at 10.55am and in the return direction IC-514 Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad-Mumbai flight reaches Hyderabad at 12.40pm and Mumbai at 2.45pm.
