Reiterating his plea for divorce with his wife Nandini, Tollywood film actor Pavan Kalyan, on Wednesday, through his lawyer, filed a petition against his wife Nandini in the Family Court. The court accepted the petition and posted the hearing on September 5, 2007.

Pavan Kalyan's advocate Kusuma filed the divorce petition under Section 13 of Hindu Marriage Act. It may be recalled that Pavan Kalyan's wife Nandini filed a bigamy case against her husband and a dowry harassment case against him and his family members including his brother Chiranjeevi and 12 others on June 22, 2007.

Nandini appealed for a monthly alimony of Rs. 5 lakhs from Pavan Kalyan. The court ordered Pavan to depose before the Magistrate on July 31, 2007. Meanwhile, the Three Town Police completed enquiry into the case as per the court orders and the report of which will be submitted to the Court on Thursday.
