Biggest layout in Asia at Paradesipalem to come up at Visakhapatnam

VUDA proposes to develop

The Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA) would develop Asia's biggest layout at Paradesipalem under its land pooling programme with farmers said the VUDA Chairman PSN Raju and Vice Chairman G Venkatram Reddy at a press conference on Thursday. A total of 338 hectares would be develop under land pooling. The programme was being taken up only after holding discussions with farmers said the VUDA Chairman.

He said for every acre of land taken, 1800 square yards of plot land would be given to owners instead of any compensation. Under ground drainage, cabling and sewerage lines would be provided. The Vice Chairman said that building plan approval and permission for electricity and water meters will have to be obtained for beginning construction on the plotted area.

VUDA would take up a mega plantation programme on July 8 at its Rishikonda layouts. IT Park and the Buddhist site Thotlakona and there a park would be development into 20 acres and in seven acres at Rishikonda where avenue plantation will also taken up.
