Three Town Police submits report
According to the Court directive, the Three Town police on Thursday submitted a report to the family court in the bigamy case filed against cine actor Pavan Kalyan by Nandini. The court has posted the case for further hearing on August 20 upon a request made by the police seeking more time to provide details in the case.
Sources reveal that the police questioned Nandini's family members and gathered the photographs, CDs and other information pertaining to her marriage. Nandini who was to attend the court stayed away as she was indisposed.
Meanwhile, Pavan's lawyer urged the family court to conduct trial in camera as he was a popular actor and might draw the media attention. He said the open trial could also harm his career. But, the court reserved its orders and rejected Nandini's petition seeking seizure of passports of Pavan Kalyan and Renu Desai. She apprehended that the defendants might flee India and throw a spanner in the police.
