Nine day medical and health exhibition

The Andhra Medical College is conducting a nine day medical and health exhibition 'Arogya Utsav' on its premises from July 20 to mark its 85th foundation day.

According to the Medical College Principal, CV Rao in a press release said that the exhibition would spread awareness about various diseases,with focus on the importance of nutritious food in preventing hyper tension, diabetes, cardiac problems, obesity and other related disorders.

The exhibition will also throw light on the role of sanitation in preventing the spread of malaria, chickungunya, dengue and other viral fevers, causes and treatment of typhoid, cholera and cancer. The exhibition will be held from 9am to 5pm.
