Visakha Dairy hikes milk price

Due to the rise in the procurement cot and other expenses

Vijaya Visakha Milk Producers Company Limited has increased the milk price with effect from January 16. The Company Managing Director, said that the price hike is inevitable due to the rise in the procurement cot and other expenses. The revised prices are Skim milk (500 ml) costs Rs. 7, homogenized double toned milk (500 ml) costs Rs. 7.50, Toned milk (500 ml) costs Rs. 8.50, homogenized toned Vijaya milk (1000 ml) costs Rs. 17, toned milk (200 ml) costs Rs. 3.50, standardized milk (500 ml) costs Rs. 9 and whole milk (500 ml) costs Rs. 10.50 now.
