Visakhapatnam, January 19, 2007

Speaking at the valedictory of Energy Month Celebrations at the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant on Friday, the Chairman and Managing Director of VSP Y. Siva Sagar Rao said that the energy conservation is the key element for the growth of economy of the nation. He said that developing countries need 80 developing countries need 80 percent of the total energy demand in the world. He added that it is alarming to note that the natural resources will be available only for few decades.

The National Energy Conservation award won by the VSP for the seventh consecutive time at national level is a great pride for the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. He launched the energy and cost portal on the occasion.
