Rich tributes paid to Dr Ambedkar

The Member of the National Commission for Scheduled Castes V. Devendar visited the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. He paid tributes to Dr. Ambedkar and Babu Jagjivan Ram by garlanding their statues in Ukkunagaram.

He held discussions with the top management over the welfare measures being implemented in the Steel Plant where in PK Bishnoi, Director (Personnel) and top management officials participated in the discussions. He complimented the management for taking up initiative to conduct elections to the SC, ST Employees’ Welfare Association peacefully.

He urged the employees to put up more efforts to achieve international standards against the backdrop of huge expansion of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant is undertaking presently. He also held talk with members of the SC and ST Employees’ Association.
