Students needs liberalization and proposed reforms in higher educationGITAM College of Management Studies entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Glasgow Business School of Scotland, JK, at the international conference on ‘Going Global: Unleashing People Potential’ which began at GITAM CMS on Friday. The two day conference was organized as part of the decennial celebrations of Postgraduate Department of Human Resource Management of GITAM CMS.
Angus Laing, Head of University of Glasgow Business School, speaking on the occasion explained various developments in human resource management education across the globe. GITAM president MVVS Murthy emphasized the need for grooming students to the societal needs in the context of liberalization and proposed reforms in higher education.
In the keynote address, TV Rao, Chairman of TV Rao Learning School Private Limited, Ahmedabad explained the qualities of world class organizations and emphasized the need for training global managers in the right perspective. Eminent persons from the industry and academics will speak at the six technical sessions to be held during the conference.
