Agreement for three research projects

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) and Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) signed an agreement for three research projects in the fields of bioremediation and Nano-technology in lubricants on Saturday.

HPCL director (Refineries) AMA Tankiwala advised the research teams of GITAM to work with dedication and purpose to carry out result-oriented research work for the commercial applications. He expressed confidence that the GITAM would prove their talent in successful research and development endeavors.

PK Sarma, director (R&D) GITAM stressed the need of academic interaction to the oil industry and explained plans to foray into different fields of research and development.
