Visakha Refinery sets new records

Visakhapatnam, January 26, 2007

The Visakha Refinery has successfully completed the erection of the CCR Cyclemax Regeneration System and the CCR Reactor as part of it was Clean Fuels Project being taken up at a cost of Rs. 2147 core to produce Euro II and III grade fuels.

The CCR Cyclemax Regeneration System has been erected in five prefabricated modules weighing a total of 420 tonnes and the total height of the structure is 72 metres making it as one of the tallest structures in the refinery. The CC Reactor enables the refinery to produce motor spirit with ultra low sulphur for meeting Bharat Stage II and Euro III standards.

The entire operation was conducted in the presence of Visakha Refinery Executive Director AS Rao and top officials were present on the occasion.
