Match gains prominence for being the last before World Cup

The ACA-VDCA Stadium at the Pothanamallayapalam in the popular seashore steel city of Visakhapatnam has geared up for the limited overs One Day International (ODI) match between India and Sri Lanka. The match gained prominence, particularly because both the teams are serious to wrap up the series with a win and secondly for being the last ODI before entering into the World Cup match.

The ground staff ensured the stadium is placed well for the match. The city police are on strict security checks and vigil while the state road transport corporation is running special busses from various parts of the city to the venue.
