Pulses worth over Rs. 21 lakh seizedThe officials of Vigilance and Enforcement Department raided four outlets including three shopping malls and seized pulses worth over Rs. 21 lakhs.
A Vigilance and Enforcement Department team led by Circle Inspector Srinivas raided Sahil Traders, Spencer's Market, Big Bazar and Pantaloons Food Products on Thursday.
The Vigilance officials seized 623 quintals of pulses and rice stock and registered cases against another outlet Prakash Traders for selling Rs. 1.4 core worth rice without accounts.
