Visakhapatnam, February 9, 2007

The civil works for expansion of Raw Material Handling Plant area of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) was started on Friday at New Coal Stock Yard area. All civil works scheduled to be completed by August 31, this year. The works will be done round the clock and the company awarded value of works is Rs. 64.11 crore.

Structural steel wok in the Raw Material Handling Plant areas was also started on Friday by Hindustan Steel Works Construction Limited worth over Rs. 4.55 crore. The Chairman and Managing Director of VSP, Y. Siva Sagar Rao inaugurated the works.
