Total stores in the state now reaches 59After the successful launch of the retail stores in Hyderabad and Vijayawada, Reliance Retail Limited opened three Reliance Fresh stores in the city taking their total number in the State to 59.
Head of Operations of Reliance Retail Limited KS Venugopal, speaking to media that the target is to set up 75 such stores by June of this year. He said that it was a customer driven concept aimed at making farm fresh vegetables and fruits in the neighborhood at an affordable prices.
It procures vegetables, fruits, dairy products, select grocery directly from agricultural fields, and added that it has 30 collection points across the State including one at Pendurty. Each store offers 200 varieties of vegetables and fruits and more varieties will be added based on customer feed back.
