400 local women trained in apparel manufactureThe Brandix has commenced commercial production at VSEZ, Duvvada with the inauguration of its commercial manufacturing unit recently in the presence of the Director of Brandix.
It has trained a total of 400 local women over the past several months in apparel manufacture and 220 of these trainees are involved in the commercial production at the first stage. Their appointment letters wee handed over during the recent function. According to sources, the interviews for the second batch of machine operators were already completed and their training programme would commence during the month.
