Organized on the eve of RINL silver jubilee celebrationsKA Naidu, president of Ukkunagaram club and Director (Personnel) RINL, inaugurated Visakhapatnam District Badminton championship Steel Cup was organized by Ukkunagaram on the occasion of RINL silver jubilee celebrations.
Nearly 285 players from all over the district participated in the championship. A. Jagadeesh won the singles in under 13 boys category and Jahnavi Navya Mohana cliched the under 10 title for girls.
P. Satyanarayana, secretary of the club welcomed the gathering. Gowrishankara Rao, members EVV Gopalakrishna, M. Srinivasa Rao and Govindarajulu organized the tournament.
