Tuition fee for all the students to be waivedThe Vice Chancellor of Andhra University (AU) L. Venugopal Reddy speaking to media on Monday said that a batch of 20 AU students will join Blenkinge Institute of Technology of Sweden to pursue post graduation in engineering. The Tution fee for all the students will be waived as part of the MoU signed in August last year.
According to MoU, the AU students can choose one of the ten engineering PG courses at the Swedish Institute. The student exchange programme will facilitate Swedish students to pursue their education at the AU. Faculty exchange programmes will also be take up soon, he said.
Blenkinge Institute of Technology of Sweden International project coordinator V. Gurudutt Kumar said that two new PG programmes viz., Software Engineering and Electrical Engineering (Communications) will be launched by Andhra University in collaboration with the Swedish Institute. These programmes are likely to be introduced during the next academic year.
