Good performing teams at VSP gets awards

On the eve of the Silver Jubilee celebrations, the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) on Monday presented Jawaharlal Nehru awards to 71 employees for their outstanding service to the organization during the year 2006.

VSP Chairman and Managing Director, Y. Siva Sagar Rao presented the awards. He also presented a memento to the General Manager (Vigilance) PS Rao for designing the model of second Pylon of VSP titled 'Pragathi Prateeka'.

VSP directors PK Bishnoi, KA Naidu, HS Chhatwal and PK Mishra presented awards to the teams of Central Maintenance Mechanical department, Central Stores department, Utilities, Wire Rod Mill departments for implementing the Integrated Work Place Management '5S'.
