190 piracy CDs seized

Sleuths of the Task Force conducted raids on various video shops in the city on Saturday. As many as 190 piracy compact discs at two video shops are seized in the operations. According to officials sources, the raids are conducted on Vijayadurga Video audio and video shop at Gurudwara on Saturday and seized 115 piracy CDs. The Task Force SI’s Lakshmana Murty and Siva Prasad along with their team conducted the raids and took the owner of the shop into custody. The accused are handed over at the IV Town Police Station.

In another raid conducted in MVP Colony in Sector VIII, they seized 75 piracy CDs from Vizag Video Valley shop and took the owner of the shop A Rajeswara Gupta into custody. The Task Force officials handed him over to III Town Police said Sub Inspector Lakshmana Murty.
