Leader of the Steel plant trade union INTUC and an employee of the Visakhpatnam Steel Plant, L Venkata Kanna Rao is found hacked to death near Lankelapalem on Thursday night near the National Highway. Kanna Rao is actively into finance business.

Family members say he returned from work that evening and went out on some work but did not return back. When he did not return home even after 10 AM, family members tried reaching him on his mobile but it is found to be switched off. Primary reports say that he must have been attacked before being killed.

Gajuwaka CI Ravi Varma said that the can be solved and that the culprits be caught. The Gajuwaka Police are investigating the case.
