Governor ND Tiwari witnesses 90-minute event as part of Navy Week Celebrations

Thousands assemble all across the beach to witness events

The Navy Week celebrations demonstrated at the RK Beach. The Governor, ND Tiwari witnessed the event as chief guest. The 90-minute event was commemorating the attack on Karachi Harbor by the Indian Navy during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. Governor, ND Tiwari graced the occasion. Marine Commandos burst 84 mm rockets as a mark of respect and welcomed the guest.

Thousands of people witness the Naval personnel’s dare delivery. The illuminated Naval War Ships, the display of mock exercises of attacks on the enemy, the breath talking and spine chilling maneuvering the open skies resembled a celebration of war victory. The colorful take off copters from the moving column of warships in close formation and the aircraft stimulating the missile engagement of the enemy by firing are some of the capabilities that drew cheers from the spectators.

The aerial show by Sagar Pawan, the Navy’s aerobatic team displaying their flying prowess, won a chorus of cheers from the audience. The Vice Admiral Raman Prem Suthan, Flag Officer Commanding in chief of ENC, Rear Admiral RK Dhowan and Rear Admiral Anurag G Thapliyal participated in the celebrations.
