Arrangements completed for Vizag Run

World Telugu Federation Youth Wing to conduct the event

At a press conference on Friday, the organizers of the Vizag Run said that all arrangements for smooth conduction of the Vizag Run as scheduled to take place on Sunday were completed. The Vizag Run will be conducting on Sunday morning on RK Beach Road.

According to the organizers, film star Mumaith Khan is likely to participate in the Vizag Run. The Youth Wing of World Telugu Federation is conducting the event with the assistance of local sports organizations and government departments. Nearly 30,000 people of all age groups are expected to participate in the run.

Vice president of Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) S Kondandaramaiah, film star Sai Kumar who is the chief advisor of WTF Youth Wing explained the arrangements made for the Vizag Run. The Run would be from RK Beach to Appu Ghar and back. Officials of District Athletic association would supervise the event. The GVMC would supply water packets and other arrangements, while the city police will take care of security and traffic regulations. VUDA would sponsor the prize money for the winners. A cultural programme is also being organized after the run is completed. The performers would be locals and from other areas. Telugu Film stars would also participate during the cultural programme.
